How We Started
August 1, 1996 was the day we first opened our doors for business. Our first store location was on the square in Adairville, KY. We were located there until 1999, when our building was sold and we were told we had to move. We relocated to Bethel Shopping Center in Russellville, KY. We remained there (9 years) until First Souther National Bank bought the property to build the new bank. Again we were faced with moving due to our building being sold. We then moved to our current location in Russellville at 553 Cherry Street, in July 2008.
Each move has been such a blessing. I've always been a firm believer in "everything happens for a reason". Each move brought us to a much larger location. Our current building is 4400 sq ft, which is packed full of inventory, that changes daily..
Heather (middle daughter) worked side by side with me for 6.5 years. She blessed me with a granddaughter and grandson during those years. She left the store to pursue her dream career of cosmetology in 2015.
Melissa (oldest daughter) then came to work part-time, until she found love & moved to TN in 2017. She blessed me with my 2 oldest grandsons.
Morgan (youngest daughter) went to work with me everyday until she started school. Then in 2018, she came on as my business partner. Since then we have went computerized, and updated the look of the store. Fast forward to 2021, Morgan was blessed with her miracle baby girl, who joined us at work everyday just like her mama!Fast Forward AGAIN to Jan 2023, Tina is thoroughly enjoying RETIREMENT!! Heather & her husband Michael took ownership in 2023 and have since completed a full remodel of the stores layout AND added in Heather's salon! Two passions collide! We hope to serve the community of Logan County & surrounding areas for many years to come! We hope to see ya soon!
